Hello & Welcome,

I am a visual artist living and working in Wilmington, Delaware with my two crazy cats.

I have always been intrigued and excited by the beauty found in Nature, both in form and color. Whether it is flowers, shells, or other organic forms, my work has always centered on the natural world. I like to isolate an individual flower because it allows for a detailed examination of the shape.

While the images may seem to be photographs, they are actually scans of real flowers created by using a flatbed scanner. I began experimenting with this technique while in college and I have focused on refining it more over the last few years. Using a scanner allows me greater flexibility with arranging the composition. It is also able to capture a much more vivid image.
